The green card certifies that you know the rules, the etiquette and enough of the game to play a course on your own. Without it, most clubs — Golf du Claux Amic among them — will not open their 18 holes to you. The academy’s course condenses the preparation into three days, theory, practice and play on the course included.

Putting, chipping and bunker shots — where the score is really made.
Unplayable lies, out of bounds, hazards, repairing pitch marks, order of play, safety.
Real play on the Claux Amic holes, to get used to the expected pace.

The rules that really matter out on a course: unplayable lies, out of bounds, hazards, order of play, safety. And the etiquette — repairing your pitch marks, keeping pace, letting others through.
The swing on the range — grip, posture, alignment, ball contact — then the short game: putting, chipping, bunker shots. The Foresight radar measures your swings rather than estimating them.
The Claux Amic holes in real play: club selection, handling awkward situations, pace of play. This is where theory and practice meet.
Wednesday to Friday: three days off work to book instead of a full week, for ten and a half hours of tuition.
Full sets available throughout the three days. You buy nothing until you know whether golf suits you.
Foresight radar and force plate: your swing is measured, not merely watched. Few academies in the area offer this.
The course is part of the programme: real play takes place on the Claux Amic holes, at 600 m above sea level, not on a driving range in isolation.
The course runs in French, English, Spanish or Portuguese, depending on your group.
The course is aimed at beginners: no prior knowledge, no minimum level.
It runs from Wednesday to Friday, three and a half hours a day.
A group forms from two players upwards.
Run by Éric and Lucas Poujeol, the academy’s two coaches.
Available in French, English, Spanish or Portuguese.
Clubs lent throughout the three days, nothing to buy.
